What is pre-accounting?
In Turkey, "ön muhasebe" (pre-accounting) means recording a company's daily commercial transactions: invoices, delivery notes, receipts, payments, cash and bank movements, and partner accounts. Statutory books and tax returns are usually prepared by the accountant; pre-accounting feeds that process with accurate, timely data.
A company that keeps its bookkeeping in order collects receivables faster, can forecast cash flow and gives its accountant complete data.
Why use Odoo for invoicing and bookkeeping?
Many invoicing tools are fine to start with, but once inventory, manufacturing, a sales team or e-commerce come in, businesses have to switch software. In Odoo, invoicing is the first step of a full ERP: start with Invoicing today and add inventory, CRM or manufacturing to the same database tomorrow. No data migration, no relearning.
- License-free Odoo Community foundation
- Turkey-specific e-invoicing, CBRT rates and partner reports
- Browser access from any device
- Apps added only when you need them
Which businesses is it for?
- New companies that want to start with the right system
- SMEs issuing invoices with spreadsheets or basic tools
- Service businesses such as consultancies, agencies and freelancers
- Trading companies planning to add inventory or e-commerce soon
Growing from invoicing to ERP
Many businesses start Odoo with invoicing, then add purchasing and inventory, then CRM or manufacturing. Previous data is kept at every step and reports become integrated. We describe the most efficient order in our ERP for SMEs guide.
