What is Odoo?
Odoo is open-source business management software developed by Belgium-based Odoo S.A. The project started in 2005 as TinyERP, was later renamed OpenERP and rebranded as Odoo in 2014. Today it is used by millions of users around the world.
Odoo's defining trait is its modular design: CRM, sales, inventory, accounting, manufacturing, e-commerce, HR and many other apps share the same database. Businesses can start with only the apps they need and extend the system over time. Built on Python and PostgreSQL, Odoo is backed by a large developer community and thousands of add-on modules.
Odoo Community vs Enterprise
Odoo comes in two main editions. Community is free and open source; Enterprise is a paid edition that adds extra apps, advanced features and official support on top of Community.

Using Odoo in Turkey
Odoo ships with a Turkish localization package that includes the chart of accounts and tax settings. However, some everyday requirements of businesses in Turkey are not ready in standard Odoo. We cover them with modules developed specifically for Turkey:
